We had an amazing swarm on Saturday July 19th 2008, at the Clinton Robert's store. We had 22 ladies come and participate and we had a great time. I did, however, miss my sister, Lani, very much as she has always been my partner is crime. We did a make-n-take, and 2 challenge projects. For the make-n-take we made post-it note holders. It was not an original, I did get the idea from a creative and crafty scrapper from the cricut message board. I made one as an example with the ladybugs and Lori (my message board name is LadybugLori). They could decorate theirs anyway they wanted. Our first challenge was called "picture this". I gave each one a wooden picture frame, and told them to turn it into their own work of art. They got bonus points if they added a picture and used a vinyl cut on it. I did an example, (of cours red, white and blue theme cause my house is decorated in americana). We had 14 ladies do the challenge, and Suzi's preschool theme frame won. She got a gift card and a 12x12 stamp set.
