Last week I bought some flocked paper at a LSS.  It was kind of pricey so I only  bought 2 sheets hoping I could use is in my cricut.  I was unsure how it would cut, and I wasworried it would gunk up my machine.  I tried it out tonight, and this is how my Elmo turned out.  Of course the flocking doesn't show up as well in the pictures.  I didn't realize that it was sticky back, (my 8 year old daughter told me).  I cut it on multi-cut then just peeled off the top layer(how cool is that), it didn't cut through the backing, but that is ok.  I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the way this turned out and that I can cut this flocked paper in my cricut.  I gonna be awake half the night thinking of new ways to use this papar.   I think in the morning I am going back to buy every color they have.  Thought I would share with you all.  YEAH!!!!!

That old game password is my inspiration for these cards.  I wanted to make a red window that would reveal the secret.  So, I cut the pockets from Tags, bags boxes and more with the window feature on, added red cellophane to the window, and added the wording, "Shhhh.....  It's a secret", to the front.  For the tag, I simply cut it buy hand to fit inside, used the window extra piece to shadow the "secret".  I used illustrator to make the secrets buy typing the message in blue, then put the red x's over top in a separate layer.  You can still kind of see the message, and if I were to make these again, I would use a lighter blue, anyway.  Of course I added some extras to finish off the tag.  There is space on the back of the tags to write a short message.  Ok let me know what you all think.  I personally like the way they turned out.

Love U "Beary much".

My latest project, the pictures don't do them justice.  I made these cute candy pouches to give to some special people.  Ok they are for the ladies that are attending my swarm on Saturday.  Here's what I did, I stamped the bears with the SU wheel on mailing labels, then rapped them around the mini hershey bars.  I put them in the bags, cut the marquee from the Storybook cart, and added the "heart", U and "Beary much", to complete them.  They are much cuter in person.

Celebrate with Elmo

Here are the cards I made for a swap next week, with the ladies in the neighborhood.  I was so in love with the seasame street carts and used the S.S. font for this card.  I cut Elmo holding the square, and put the card part over the square.  I cut the word celebrate and the balloon from the celebrations cart.  Of course I used stickles, my favorite embellishment, to embelish the balloon.  I am so glad to be finished with these, as I have been obsessing about them for a while now.  I would love to hear your thoughts, leave a comment, please.

Make-n-take photo holder

This is the make-n-take project for the upcoming cricut swarm I am hosting at the Clinton Robert's on January 24th.  I etched the glass, (I know it's hard to see), with the word friends and 4 flowers.  The flowers have paper clips on the back to hold the photos.  Each person will get supplies to make their own, and have a change to try the etching.  Hope you like.

Love Notes

Here is a mailbox I altered as a demo model for the upcoming cricut swarm I will be hosting, (January 24th, at the Clinton Robert's, everyone is welcome).  I got the mailbox from Target in their dollar spot.  I love the colors, the green paper has little white flowers with a pink center.  The paper was almost too cute to use, but I forced myself to use it and not horde it like I do with most of my pretty paper.  I would love to hear your thoughts on this.
