Just so I can prove that I did them, here are my recipes for the casserole recipe swap on the cricut messageboard. They were sent out today, Monday December 15th. It is a pretty basic layout, but I'm happy with the way they turned out.
I combined the art project I did with Scotty's class and the bulletin board. I made a paper doll of each boy, (yes a class with 11 boys). We put the snowman pictures they made into frames and hung them up on the paper dolls with push pins. It turned out pretty cute. Sometimes my "visions" don't always translate well onto paper, but I like the way it turned out and the teachers loved it. The close up of the paper doll and picture is Scotty's. He wanted mittens for his snowman. LOL I would love to hear your comments.
My son Scotty, loves to draw. I asked the teacher if I could come and help out in the classroom once in a while. She came up with the idea that since Scotty loves to draw, once a month I would come into Scotty's classroom and do art with the students in his classroom. I was really unsure what I should do, since I am not artsy. I couldn't teach these kids to draw, but I did realize that I could let them learn to express themselves, so I came up with the idea of the art journals. I made each child a journal. Each time we meet I will have a topic for them to draw about on one page and an art project to go on the other page. At the end of the school year they will have a keepsake to take home and share with their families.
This is a sample of a few of the Christmas gift tags I made for a swap. Let me know what you think.

I wanted to make a special gift for my friend Dirk, who was here visiting from Germany. I made this photo holder from a tealight cup, a styrafoam ball, decorative rocks, a dowel, a few words cut from my cricut, some small pieces of ribbon and some clothes pins. I am really pleased with the way it turned out for a quick gift.
