A little something................

I am a dork but then most of you knew that already.  So I was given a great opportunity to lead a conference call with some newer girls that also demo.  I was so excited about the call that my first thought was that I needed to make some sort of cute notebook so I could make my notes.  That's seriously the way my scrap obsessed brain works.  So I put together a cute new notebook to write my to-do lists, shopping lists, or notes from meetings.  I found this cute paper and it "spoke"to me, (that happens a lot and explains why I have so much paper).   It had some cute flowers on it, but I wanted the flowers to POP!!  So I cut and layered several flowers in coordinating colors, then used my new ITop tool to make my own brads.  Note:  Did you know that there is a cut on Accent Essentials that is perfect for the ITop.  On the inside I tried sewing for the first time.  I made a coordinating pocket that turned out really nice.  It was a fun project and I am so proud when I pull it out.

Sometimes I hate reading your blog because it reminds me of how creative I am NOT and you are always talking about the new tools you have. I know that by the time I have that tool, it will be archaic!

That notebook and everything else you do is soooo darling and so dang creative!
