I have been feverishly working on completing Valentines for the girls at church that I work with. Ok, that might be a bit of an exageration, because anyone who knows me knows I would rather be making valentine than doing anything domestic, like laundry, dishes, ducting, cleaning,.......... One of the goals for our young womens group this year is to become closer and develop more of a sisterhood. Nothing draws you closer together than knowing why others love you. I suggested that we do a Valentines exchange and ask the girls to write a note to each girl saying why they like or love them. This is my offering for the Valentines exchange. A simple pillow box cut from the wedding cartridge. I embossed with a sizzix folder and tied with a cute ribbon. Inside there is a personal note I wrote to each girl, that starts with "I love you because......". Since there was wasted space, I filled it up with peanut butter M&M's.

Because we needed something to put all those love notes in, I quickly threw together some simple and easy paper sacks.
I love the simplicity of these. If I had more time, I would have added ribbon handles. Still I think they are functional and well.......pretty cute. I'd love to hear what you all think.

What a sweet idea. How fun and then how special each will feel as she reads her notes.
